AI as a Tool for Software Engineering | I Know Great People

Christopher Ruckman on to relaunch this series of conversations about the things people do. Christopher and I talk about his experience as a Software Engineer adapting to and adopting the use of large language models that are referred to colloquially as AI technology.

Will admit that some of the terminology may have been beyond me but good thing there is access to the net to search it out. I am currently starting to try out different models to see how I may be comfortable integrating the tech into my own projects. What experience with AI do you have?

New York City Restaurant Management with Stephen Thomas Kirschner | I Know Great People

Stephen Kirschner started this series years ago and is now the first one back for a followup conversation. This time we talk about his recent experience in managing restaurants in New York City.

New York City is one of the, if not the food capital of the world. That may be seen as more chances for one to find employment but also has the challenge of increased competition. Been glad to see Stephen advance in his career in food service and manage to make it in New York City with all it’s considerations. Maybe in another 10 years he will be back with a conversation about how he opened a restaurant in NYC!

Edward Hoefer on ghostwriting & storytelling | I Know Great People

Edward joins Stephen & I to talk about storytelling in a professional capacity. As a creative I have been writing and trying to better communicate for decades so this was a topic I really wanted to know more about. There are questions about ghostwriting, differences between personal vs pubic writing and more.

We enjoy talking as is but in this case we did also get into telling each other stories and found the time passing by so decided to break this up into 2 parts.
