Shriya Malhotra on visiting Japan & being culturally artistic | I Know Great People

Only recently found out that Shriya and I share some similar upbringings but have for some time shared our interest in art, communication and generally what that says about a culture and ones ability to understand what it means to be of a culture. Mwachofi on the current utility of Tribalism | I Know Great People

Met Sospita earlier this year when Mwatika brought him to Afri-Love Fest as a fellow caricature artist. Nyacomba Githu on defining your creativity in Kenya | I Know Great People

I met Nyacomba along with other creatives as we put on a Creative Collaboration Convention in 2025. Since then have been inspired and invigorated by her drive in a wide range of creative fields. Having made the time in her busy schedule to convert the energy form the convention into the 1 Million thriving artists Creative Collaboration Community she now and time from the site she is building for several endeavors to talk about her experience and how one can define a place for themselves as a creative in this fluctuating and growing industry.

She will be back for art, food, family, politics and more.

Elvis Elvarki on animating himself into an animator | I Know Great People

Elvis joined me in I Know Great People in the same intentional way he has come into his creative self. Hearing about how Elvis took advantage of opportunities and sought out resources for his personal growth was reinforcing conversation for the 1 Million Thriving Artist goal of seeing 1 Million Thriving Artists on the African continent. Especially in contrast to the last conversation with Baraka, a veteran of the creative industry in Kenya, about how entering the various fields were 25 years ago.

Be like @elviselvarki in pursuing what you want to achieve and that can in no way hurt to eventually achieving your goals.
